The Eura CD-82B8 carbon monoxide detector is used for continuous monitoring and detection of the presence of carbon monoxide in the air and for warning when the safe concentration of this gas is exceeded.

The Eura CD-82B8 carbon monoxide detector is small in size, enclosed in a single housing. It uses a technologically advanced electrochemical sensor and an electronic control system, which allows for high detection rates with low energy consumption. When a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide is detected in the air, the device generates an acoustic and optical alarm and displays the concentration on the LCD screen.

The device has a test/restart button, battery life indicator, and sensor damage indicator. No additional devices or wiring are required for proper operation, except for two 1.5V DC batteries.

The smoke detector is installed at head height (e.g., the installation height in the bedroom is about 0.7 m, and in the living room 1.5 m from the floor) in enclosed spaces where there is a possibility of carbon monoxide formation.

In addition, each Eura CD-82B8 carbon monoxide detector has been individually tested in a Polish laboratory, in a special chamber, to determine the optical and acoustic alarms triggered by carbon monoxide in the atmosphere.
