The El home GD-02A4 gas detector is used for continuous monitoring and detection of the presence of explosive gases in the surrounding air and for warning when the maximum safe concentration of such gases is exceeded. It is installed in enclosed spaces where there is a possibility of gas leakage from the installation or the equipment supplied with it.

In order for the El home GD-02A4 gas detector to function properly, no other additional devices, power cords or batteries are required. It is small in size, enclosed in a single housing. It uses a technologically advanced semiconductor sensor and electronic control system, which allows for high detection speed at a relatively low device price. When the factory-set gas concentration <25% LEL* is exceeded, an optical and audible alarm is activated. Such a solution increases the likelihood of protecting the user from the risk of poisoning or explosion of leaked gas.

Natural gas is colorless, has a faint odor, and is lighter than air. It forms a flammable and explosive mixture with oxygen in the air. The greatest danger arises when a gas stove is turned off or when gas leaks - it can be ignited by devices above, such as a light switch.

Propane-butane (also known as LPG) in its gaseous state, unlike natural gas, is heavier than air, so it accumulates primarily in the lower parts of rooms, the remaining threats are very similar.
